The spring of Aganippe
|
Aganippe was the Naiad Nymph of the spring of Aganippe on Mount Helikon (Helicon) in Boiotia, central Greece. She was a daughter of the local river-god Termessos. She lives by a magical spring that gives great inspiration to anyone who drinks from it.
Aganippe may be the same as Eupheme, nurse of the Mousai.
